As our Borrower Support team will book deliveries manually on your behalf during the pilot, we’ve got a 3pm cut-off for next-day deliveries, to give the team time to book before their shift finishes.
Delivery windows booked with us must be a minimum of 2 hours to provide enough time for the delivery riders to collect the Thing at the kiosk before delivering to your address.
Because we cannot guarantee the specific time a Thing will reach you between 09:00-19:00 Monday to Friday and 12:00-17:00 Sundays, we also cannot accommodate “same-day returns” - given there may not be enough remaining time to use the Thing.
It's also worth noting that same-day returns are currently the same price as “overnight borrows” anyway, so you get more time with the Thing for the same price if you book overnight!
Again to help our Borrower Support team facilitate manual bookings during the pilot, we also can’t allow extensions of any delivery reservations - as this would need a delivery cancelling and another booking.
We hope to relax some of these restrictions after the pilot, when booking a delivery can be more flexible and organised by you, the borrower!
